Just wanted to say that Flare's playthrough of Core Keeper is great, she's the perfect match for the game.
I'm feeling like I'm a reverse soulsfag right now, she's running into stuff at the right order and her reactions are always funny. Getting scared of the bosses on first encounter, being too vary of new enemies, getting grossed out by larvas, even the confusing stuff like the repair table where she scrapped her pickaxe before understanding anything, the fishing minigame, it's THE experience, just cut it into clips and make ads for the game.
The small episode in the second stream where she died to a shaman, but he ended up on the route of the boss worm and then she laughed as the shaman got crushed to death was already worth watching the entire thing. https://youtu.be/rVRnjbfufz8?t=13436
She's also progressing at a steady pace, her first stream was about getting used to stuff, but on the second she already killed 2 bosses, even if the second boss was something of a fluke. Flare is really in her element in a game like that, her minecraft solo autism translated here surprisingly well. Speaking of translation, her chat does a pretty poor job getting anything across to her, and her eigo isn't that good either, so there's a bunch of guesswork involved, but she eventually gets things right (except for healing, she still eats to full hunger to heal minecraft-style).
I also watched Okayu, Botan and Koyori play it, but this one playthrough is what I'd recommend for that game, it's a blind dive into the game by someone very much invested into it and not really trying to cut corners or skip anything, and her luck led her around in the right order. I hope she finishes the current content, but I don't mind if she comes back later when there's more stuff to do.
