I guess that's true to a degree. The lesson Rika learns can apply to them all regardless of what they went through. The difference is that the other kids' acts still affect the world they're in, while Rika is more concerned about her own outlook on whatever fragment she's in and the guilt of leaving behind all those worlds. Of course, the other kids already look at it from a more human perspective, whereas Rika is moving on from those countless lost fragments and trying to live as a human.

I dunno, obviously friendship, communication and mutual support is the main theme of Higurashi, but forgiving yourself is just as much of a theme to me. Forgiving each other's sins is used as a stepping stone to forgiving yourself.
I think this shines through pretty clearly in Satoko's guilt over Satoshi and refusal to forgive herself, or the twins' mutual guilt in the pain caused by the twin switch.

I think there's truth to it, and the VN pushed the idea in the later arcs. We've seen the club members develop through the fragments beyond just direct fragment memories, they subconsciously change in some ways.
Also, yeah their relationship wouldn't make as much sense if it was a true clean slate every loop, K1's only been there for a month in summer of 83.
