You're describing outliers while I'm talking in general, we're not going to be turning this threa d into mahjong general.
For the average person, furiten means:
-No yaku
-Wrong yaku
-Discard a tile from your wait while having yaku (still winnable with Tsumo)
Everything else is fluff that comes later and makes you sound like a fucking snob who's trying to prove something to people online for no reason whatsoever.
