Gelle, or Jill by MG, is a mentally unstable Demon King from the Rance series. When she was still human, she used to be a very wise and helpful person who aided a great many kingdoms. People loved her for her wisdom and beauty, hut a lot hated her for those same reasons.
She was eventually captured and raped by a group of thugs. They raped her constantly, even going as far as to cut off her limbs, gouge out her eyes, and cut up her breasts, before leaving her to die on the side of the road.
This broke her. Heavily. And made her despise humanity to no end. The current Demon King, whose name is almost gibberish despite being practically the same seat as the MGE's DL, happened across her and decided to make her next in line for DK.
He also told her about the hero system, before walking off and dying offscreen.
Once she became DK, she used her vast knowledge and wisdom to utterly destroy humanity to the point of there being no major city or anything bigger than a small town. She also knew how to exploit the hero system, and had countless "farms" full of people forced to fuck and breed constantly to keep human numbers at an all time high and make any hero weak as shit because of it.
Her downfall came after she became 100% immortal, when her lover Gi sealed her away in another dimension using the demon sword Chaos. Gi would become the next DK after being exposed to Gelle's blood.
Many years later, the Dark Lord and former earth dragon Noce would scheme to free Gelle during the events of Rance 3/03. At the end, after Rance beats Gelle in an alternate dimension and fucks her, with Gelle making numerous comments that he's just like Gi, even while she's being choked, she's left to be forever alone in an alternate plane of existence.

A few anons compared or think she looks like a Lich, but her insanity and not wanting to be alone is similar to a hyper yandere monster.
