Well dang. OP here, clearly the trend is NOT in the tattoo direction but that hasn't dissuaded me. I was considering getting Okuu, in a depiction similar to this, on my back, near my shoulder, in the "only visible while wearing a wife beater or shirtless" spot. Possibly with her name written vertically next to her.

Thoughts?

It's because birds have wings fitted naturally on the sides where they can fold flat against the body.
Constructed characters with wings on their back don't have this option.
