I *did* realize. I would propably take this chapter in stride if Reimu's speech and body language expressed anything resembling regret or sadness. It's her psychotic glee about the whole deal that shattered my entire previous mental image of her and made me realize I want nothing to do with her.

To be fair, Reimu has been shown before to be a decidedly unsympathetic sociopath before in WaHH - see that part about not paying Kogasa for new needles and exterminating her instead ( http://i.imgur.com/3Afcc5f.jpg ) or her trying to scam people into buying her air tubes to survive ( http://mangafox.me/manga/touhou_ibarakasen_wild_and_horned_hermit/v05/c025/15.html ) and being hostile when Nitori actually wanted people to learn about the true nature of the falling stars ( http://i.imgur.com/i7X5T1m.jpg ). You can't even argue she's pro human with the aforementioned scam or her being a key person in maintaining a youkai preserve with humans as cattle (see pic related). It's just that the Count incident was the most unsettling.
