Koreans are still butthurt for AKB48 expanding to worst Korea? I can get Korea's hate for Japan and everything but getting mad at this is really dumb. It's not like AKB48 is going to have korean fans beyond the hardcore local weeaboos. The mainstream taste has been molded by decades of TV studios leading the music industry and following American tendencies. Japanese idol music is too alien for the korean taste, which it's very similar to the western taste because Korea want big brother America to notice her. At worst, the yakuzas may rape the girls joining the Korean branch of AKB because they're too coward for turning into silicone cyborgs aka K-pop idols but they'd never make it in the K-pop industry anyway
