I always keep track of how much I've spent on pretty much everything, no reason not to. I don't feel bad about how much I've spent on them at all though, it's not like I'm putting myself in a bad spot having to cut back on other things for my dolls since I budget well. I feel as long as you do that and don't let your spending get out of control there's no harm at all in buying things for your own happiness.
