I found that article when I was looking, but it doesn't actually have any detailed information. the thing everyone was talking about is the untranslated chart linked in the op. when I was asking I was wondering about non-battleship guns. after playing a while it's obvious that battleships are the only relevant class because heavy cruisers want to use 20.3 guns and abukuma has her minisub so guns aren't even important, but that's not something that would occur to someone who had only been playing for a week at the time.
