To become non-human would mean to break whatever rules said setting says defines a human. When magic is abundant you get a lot of options.

Much like monsters a not defined by their bodies but by the type of mana they have, so too are humans in the setting defined first and foremost by their mana.

Keep in mind too that just as with monsters having many varieties, there are many varieties of humans as well. What the setting mainly deals with are simply the most common, but non-monsterized dwarves and elves are also considered types of human, since they also produce human mana.

>The canon ones? Not really. They practically turn into a succubus without horns and wings.

Actually they continue to be fairly prideful and haughty. Here's some relevant parts from the MGE 1 description of monsterized elves:

>Their beauty and pride remain as is. They enjoy hardcore sex, and indulge in pleasure, as if their pride as a monster depended on it.

>Though their attitude towards human men may have changed, they continue to utterly despise other monsters even now more than ever before. They're always uneasy because they feel like another monster is going to steal away their beloved man.
