Excuse me /jp/, it is my understanding that this board is knowledgeable of Japanese culture. I was told that watching anime (something I do not do oftenly) doesn't give an accurate picture of Japan, but I wanted to ask you for myself?
1. The skirts in anime on women are always crazy goddamn short. Do they really where skirts so short?
2. Everyone treats the student council like it's serious motherfucking business. In American schools student council doesn't mean shit other than shit on your college transcript.
3. Panties are seen ALL THE TIME. Do Japanese girl's panties get shown all the time and do they care?
4. The voices are always very exaggerated, to the extent where it actually pisses me off. I will sometimes watch anime on extremely low volume, or mute, just to not here the voice actresses. They do not really talk like this, do they?
