Well he knew about their origins in Sakura Gakuin as well as their history with the Babybones and their switch over the the Kami band, as well as little factoids like Yui & her tomatoes and some of of their favourite bands, even if that is all found on a handful of wiki pages, that is WAY more research done on his behalf than the average interviewer.

When was the last time Sakura Gakuin was mentioned in a Western interview, if even at all, and when was Babybones ever mentioned?

I would think that the "they practice more" has probably more to do with the choreography more than anything else, since they're the ones who dance around Su.

Also because Su is a naturally gifted singer while Yui & Moa are not, so they probably do have to practice more than her because Su can just be like "oh hey, sup? Are we playing a show today? Yeah I guess I can I lend you my golden voice for like an hour or something nbd".


But yeah then again this is all just "my uncle works for Nintendo" rumors.

A scream is a sustained shout or yell, the only screaming going on in Babymetal songs that isn't done by robot 2spooky male vocals are done by Su at the end of headbanger.

Yui & Moa had their chance to also do it in their Yurop shows, but otherwise what they do in every other song is just regular singing like the "dame dame dame dame" in IDZ and shouts that are more like cheers, like the "hai, hai, hai, hai, etc. wan tu, wan tu free foru" in CMIYC and the soiya/sore stuff in Megtsune.
