Yeah, I actually prefer significant but not permanent transformation.I think the logic, initially at least, is the same though and there is an appeal in the original personality/identity conflicting with the new character. Whether the change is permanent or an exciting, private indulgence (even source of embarrassment- for humiliation fetishists out there) it seems to me markedly less exciting if there isn't conflict.

Simply put, a scenario of "hey I am girl now has boobs" is not particularly exciting to me. Putting on a suit should be more than merely putting on a costume or elaborate clothing; it should be putting on an identity.

As for forced versus willing, I do also prefer willing. I mean, forced into being a kigurumi girl is an entertaining thing from a bondage/bdsm perspective but from an identity change perspective I find it it takes some of the steam out if the character doesn't admit that they enjoy it and are at least a little enticed by the prospect of not coming back.

Locks, bondage, forced scenarios, its all tension, and that's what I find hot in the end.
