Finally watched spring song for the first time. I really enjoyed it overall, but I can't stop thinking about how half-assed the adaptation Nine Lives Blade Works was.

The build up was fine, but everything after Shirou projects Berserker's rock sword was lame. What was the point of spinning 3 times before the last slash? Why did the effort go there and not towards actually showing Shirou doing the first eight in some form? Sure, it's flashy but it felt like they took the easiest way out instead of trying to creatively make it visually interesting.
