I went for Touhou OpenWorld last year. Pretty nice place. With the exception of the youkai, it's like any other big city.

I went to the one at Touhou OpenWorld 2010. Everyone looked pretty normal, although the fact that we were all dressed in black suits might've had something to do with that.

It was so fucking awesome. I got to hear ZUN's keynote speech, in which he talked about some cool new features in the upcoming Danmaku 14 release like Automatic Grazing and Intelligent Spellcard Recovery. I talked to Reimu and Marisa for a bit, and met a few other JBCS LTD anons from /jp/ too. I lost after the fifth Hisoutensoku round on the first day, but one /jp/ anon made it to the finals tomorrow. For the rest of the time, I watched the tournaments, attended a few seminars on better scoring in PCB and EoSD, and glomped around in the cosplay arena.
