Not OP here, but

How does that minimal install work?
Is it all geeked out CLI shit where I need to know all the technical detail?

What I personally want:
1. All the hardware support
2. All the usual OS functionality (DE, automatic updates, package manager)
3. No preinstalled "3rd party" software like Office or fucking messaging programs

I mean, common sense! If I'm installing Linux than I'm surely tech savvy enough to install a messaging program as well!
