If you complain that the girl you’re interested in seems to only date assholes, well, perhaps she doesn’t have the greatest judgement. But then again, it seems like you might not either if you expect her to magically wake up one morning and spontaneously fall in love with someone she’s only seen as a platonic friend for the entirety of your friendship. If you complain about how “shallow” she is when it comes to guys, and how she ignores you, the very antithesis of superficiality of course, well, let’s try putting common sense back into the equation. Two individuals have two polar opposite, fundamental personality traits. Will they be compatible in a relationship? Hmm. Tough.

After a while, if you find yourself frustrated with being in the unrewarding Friend Zone that you have no doubt trapped yourself in, and the only alternative you can think of is to be a complete dickwad in the hopes of attracting women… save us the self-righteous speech of how you “were a Nice Guy, but now you’ve decided to be a douchebag because Nice Guys Finish Last.” There is no Nice Guy vs Douchebag dichotomy; if you call yourself a Nice Guy then you are, in actuality, a douchebag; just a creepy, pathetic, passive aggressive version.
