I disagree with this theory. I think she was well aware of the repercussions of her abilities being known. Instead, she bottled up all those feelings and sympathized with people who dare to dream. Her coming to gensokyo has finally allowed for all her genuine feelings to come to light, wanting to build her own mecha out of her liking of super sentai, which always allowed her to dream to become an ally of justice with the help of her powers when she was in the outside world.

I bet she was an average girl in the outside world. She would have been popular if she was more extroverted.
