I know that there are those who believe their high school English education is enough to make them writers. So before you get any weird ideas, try writing something and have some other people comment on it first.

We all have ideas. But not everyone of us can write. Even if a visual novel is supposed to be mostly vapid and no literature, making something people can read helps. And a good story isn't just about the destination and the plot twists.

I guess this is where your supposedly refined tastes work against you. If you can't stand people making trash, you're even more unlikely to forgive yourself for doing so.
