Why is Oricon not including international orders in their numbers? Are they retarded or something? They could just include a separate "international chart" if they want to be purist with their racist "Japanese music is for Japanese only" retardation.

I mean I like Jpop more than Kpop, and I also like non popular groups, and I don't profess to know everything, but wouldn't it be great if many more people are enticed into supporting Jpop by buying their albums. It's like what happened in the 1990s, people thought the West wouldn't like JRPGs, until one company dared to challenge convention. It's like now, people think the West wouldn't like Jpop, and we need to dare challenge that preconception. The best way to entrap a person into supporting a group is by making them invest financially, aka. buying albums. Also charts create buzz, it creates interest, it entices people to buy their album. They need to entrap as many people as they can before physical album sales further dwindles because of online streaming and digital distribution. Heck, groups might as well make printable tickets one day for handshakes as bonus for subscribing to their music streaming.

I just can't believe noone thought of this. I should have been here since 2007, this is just common sense, it's not about what type of music I listened to in the past. BTW haven't I told you yet I think Jpop is superior to Kpop since 2009. Someone should have pointed it out that Japanese movement to spread their cultural influence over the region (aka. "soft power") through media such as Jpop is hindered by the decision of Oricon in 2014 to stop counting international orders, as if saying the only people that exists are Japanese. How can you make people care about your country when you don't show you care about their orders?

And this is what the "ota-cucks" believe. Be an otaku, don't be an ota-cuck. Support Jpop and Jrock. Let international numbers be counted to entice people to buy Japanese products and spread their influence.

I still can't believe none pointed out this terrible decision. This 'Japanese music is for Japanese people only' retardation was perpetuated by old farts in suits who can't think of anything beyond reactionary decisions. Be an otaku, don't be an ota-cuck. Support Japanese cultural spread over the region. Lure people into buying Jpop stuff, aka. make them invested.

They spent all this money for Cool Japan yet they locked off one of the most accessible and popular cultural products of Japan, which is Jpop music. That's the catalyst, the key ingredient there.

And now that AKB48 is gaining more international recognition, they could have capitalized on this to generate hype for the group. This would make Japanese people proud of AKB48, stand by them as the flag bearer of Jpop, instead of being labeled as the shame of Japan.

Keep mentioning in 5ch or other Japanese forums/image board/message board that Abe is an idiot and Oricon needs to open it's gate to international audience.

In general it was a retarded knee jerk reactionary move by the old shitbags at the Japanese government.

It's only weakening it's influence by being an isolationist, when they need and should grow.

In the long run and more personal, AKB48, nay 48G, needs the international hype to finally trickle in and hopefully gain momentum, and give 48G a positive image that they truly are the cultural ambassadors of Japan and is capable of modernizing and evolving like Meiji era Japan.

Do not listen to those who oppose this objective, they treat 48G like their side bitches for their soul sucking.
