I don't think I.... used any sort of "popular card", but yeah ZUN's character art is often pretty awful, and the fanbase does glorify and draw ZUN's characters much better than he does 90% of the time. He's not bad at all at drawing and sketching really, it's his coloring that fucks all the portraits up most of the time. Anyway I'm happy to see the character art has improved immensely in UFO anyway.
