I love the way all the travelfags always start BAWWWW'ing about how we 'Dont really like Japan!' And don't know anything about it's culture outside of VNs/Anime/Manga/Touhou. Yet if you pop over to /trv/ you can see that these bawww'ing little shits are just fratboy faggots who go to Roppongi or Shibuya to 'get wasted'.

Notice how good my English is? See how my prose blossoms forth from the ground like so many roses? I didn't learn to speak English like this from formalized classes, I learnt from television programmes, from newspapers, from chatting on the web with English speakers.

Anyone who says you can't learn another language on your own is a fucking moron of epic proportions, don't listen to them, the likelihood is they have the buyer's remorse and are just trying to justify spending $2000+ on classes.

So, don't lose hope! If the motivation is there, then you WILL achieve what you set out to.
