Posting while slacking off at work so I can't draw anything here but, Steve Hustons's beginner course is what you want. Teaches you everything you need to get going, watch the vids and copy what he draws as he goes and memorize it.

It might look very different to "anime" stuff but trust me it all applies just the same.
