The Tsukihime manga is pretty good, but it only covers 1.5/5ish of the routes in the VN. I'd suggest reading the VN before you do Kagetsu Tohya. I'd say the Fate/stay night anime adaptations all range from 'ok' to 'pretty fun watch', but they're not really good substitutions for the VN.
