Kinda unrelated, but there's no dedicated sexual health general, so I don't know where else to ask. Do individual kegel contractions (say around 100+) work the same as a series of sustained contractions (say x sets of 5 seconds)? I'm having a lot of trouble isolating the kegel muscle without forcing the sphincter, and doing individual contractions seems to be the best I can do, besides I can only hold it for about 3 seconds, surely it would help me strengthen the muscle anyway? It may sound dumb but I also tried placing some weight on my penis (a steel multitool) to make it a proper workout.
