Yeah, how about this?
I started this deck in 2009. Ever since then, I've been stuck in endless cycles of 2 weeks of studying, 6+ months of burnout.
I probably started studying at least 2 years before starting this mining deck, so that's 12 years of Japanese and I still dekinai. It took me 1.5 years to get through RTK.

I'm at about 10k words mined, I can read not too hard VNs but I rely on text hookers because I still need the dictionary a lot.
