I still don't understand how this is possible. Have you just not played any of the others much?

SA's Extra stage is the hardest to beat your first time, because it's so incredibly unforgiving towards early mistakes. You have three total lives when you first get to her, and the only way to get more is not dying, which you won't be doing when you're trying to learn her. Which means you're going to be restarting a LOT.
It does snowball though, so once you can clear the first 3-4 spellcards without dying, you'll have enough lives to learn the later spellcards much more quickly. It's getting to that point that's the problem.

Compare this to the 5-6+ lives you get in the other Extras, and you can see that while she might not be the most technically difficult boss, she's definitely the hardest to learn and clear that first time.

That said, OP, I have cleared her, more than all the other bosses combined. I love that stage so much.

Look at all this love for Koishi. Satori doesn't get any. Clearly Koishi was right to close her third eye. Even if she can't appreciate all the love we're giving her, at least shes getting it!
