Things go roughly as in episode 7, but Battler offers to take care of the other cousins personally. He goes to the guesthouse, then tells George and Jessica that Kyrie and Rudolf are behind their parents' deaths and offers to help them get revenge by claiming that they're dead. They hide and Battler informs Kyrie that everyone else has died, whereupon she and Rudolf move to the living room in the mansion to rest for a little bit. Jessica and George, acting on Battler's instructions, head to the hidden room and take up their parents' guns, creep up to the mansion, and fire through the window, killing the two while they're off-guard. Battler, having found Eva before she could get up, killed her, and taken her gun, then turns the corner of the wall and kills them through rapid enfilade fire before they can turn and react.
The deed done, he returns to the guesthouse, collects Maria, and goes to the hidden room, where he fakes being distraught by his parents' actions to avoid Yasu's suspicions and takes a few gold bricks for the trouble. The three set off on a boat, only to push Yasu off once they're out to sea.
