Before that, remember the Oyashiro statue and pretty much the whole sacred tool shrine being completely different from the Matsuribayashi's timeline this episode?
Now remember the upside down shrine on the kakera space. I wonder if that shrine is the one that got Oyashiro's arm cut off. In other words, it's the original shrine and it's 'taken out' from the whole Higurashi fragments.
Or maybe the other way around? And that shrine is actually the new fragment that is being used to overwrite the original timelines?
