That's what I think, too. But then I look for an actual job and can't get one, so...it's probably worth it for people in my position, I just don't want to do it.

I graduated earlier this year, and I'm in the same boat as >>6458206

Dependent on state welfare (I'm unemployed) and my parents (I give them some of my welfare payments). I've been looking for a job since July, so I'm not a 'NEET', just an unemployed loser. The government is planning on a) cutting back on welfare (especially unemployment welfare, the UK HATES the unemployed) and b) making them work 30-hour unpaid job placements with the government to prevent from being cut off welfare. (that way, they get to fire all of their unskilled government workers, and get them to do their former jobs for free) The welfare is £52 a week so I could never live apart from my parents until I get a job.
