I was curious to see what it said about Touhou and such. That was the only big complaint I had (that is relevant to this thread). There are a few more but they are related more to outdated information than outright making things up for no reason so I'm sure they'll get looked at eventually.

Anyway, you're wrong. Sumireko's prologue shadow form thing most definitely did not have "little physical presence" considering she punched Reimu right in the nose mere seconds after Reimu found her. Sumireko's ending shadow form thing most definitely did not have "little physical presence" either - the incredibly obvious implication for Reimu's arm passing through is that it happened because Sumireko was waking up from sleep, Sumireko even says as much when it happens ("oh man, seems class is about to end"). Not to mention, Reimu gives Sumi that ESP card that she dropped in Gensokyo back in her story (and that Mokou wanted to return to her) and there's no mention of her being unable to hold it.

WaHH 35, the mini-incident where equivalent exchange is applied to Sumireko's entrance to Gensokyo that you mentioned, has nothing to suggest she used to not have a physical form but now does either, it just further explains how her Fantasy Syndrome works and clarifies why it's only taking humans NOW. And, as you've also mentioned, she's been seen interacting with Gensokyo just fine before that as well (WaHH 29, pic related, she ate some of Reimu's cookies and drank some of her... water? without any mentioned issue, and in CoLA 28 she was able to give Rinnosuke her smartphone AND take it back). Further stressing that this whole physical presence thing is just a bunch of nonsense. After all, the mini-incident happened a whole year after WaHH 29 and humans disappearing was a very recent phenomenon in WaHH 35.
