This is the stage I'm talking about. After playing through it for three minutes all I could think of was wanting to tear my eyes out from eye strain. I couldn't see anything but plaid for a while. Apparently there's also a stage on MS where bullets blend with the background, I believe it was stage 5, but I didn't get that far.
