feeling quite down right now...
i'm a beginner, i get it, but i'm making no progress whatsoever, which in turn makes me want to try even less. i sit down everyday for 30 mins clicking through anki and i still don't have everything memorized after god knows how long i've been redoing the same few cards. it's like just memorizing isn't gonna work for me, man... i hate it; it's just no fun trying to learn them full well knowing you're gonna forget them again the next day
i don't remember learning english being that hard back in the day in school (i'm german)...
maybe i'm just not cut out for it. i'm dumb and lazy so i better quit instead of going at it half-assed like i've been doing these past few months. if i really wanted to learn japanese, i wouldn't be whining this hard and try to give up this easily.
