I cannot remember exactly how long ago was I first exposed, but a definite time I can remember is when the Eirin Medic TF2 skin was released, although I was exposed to 2hu a much longer time before that.
I had a disdain for all and any weeb crap until October 2010 when I started reading Jojo out of curiosity for oldschool 4chan. Then I wanted to read Rozen Maiden and somehow mixed between the two after watching this shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLiyglcRcCA

Not long after that I had a nostalgia drive for SHMUPs (especially Strikers 1945 II) and stumbled upon this video, and again I mistaken Touhou "Project Shrine Maiden" for "Rozen Maiden".

The music, gameplay, and cast were so mesmerizing and cute that I just downloaded the games regardless of my error or previous hate for weeb stuff. Thus, I first started playing on January 2011, cleared EoSD no continues normal within 2 weeks.

Sadly to this day I haven't read or watched Rozen Maiden
