WTC happens in Koshka's mind.
As we learned from Phase 1, there's something in Koshka's head called Pandora's Box. We still don't know what it is, but what we do know is that many scientists try to open this box and learn its secrets.
Now a little bit more about it. Koshka's Mind = Pandora's Box. Cross the words in both of them and we get Koshka's Box, which in English would be Cat's Box, or simply the Cat Box. The mystery of the Rokkenjima Incident is also the Cat Box.
The scientists that try to open the box by copying Koshka's mind into other peoples' heads are actually members of the Witch Hunt, still trying to learn the truth of that day by making new theories and testing how matching they are to what happened in the Cat Box.
