Definitely. A lot of the newer games tend to lean towards more electronic music, but most stuff still has a bunch of different genres in it, especially games that have been running for a long time like DDR or IIDX.

Considering osu is a community-driven game, I'd say a shitty community is a valid excuse. Look at SM or BMS, they're just as community driven and there's a much larger variety of music and charts available for them.
