Wow, just wow. If the quality of staff & volunteers during AX2009 was anything to go by, this post only reinforces the scuttlebutt I heard during AX.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you're running a con, and want to attract and/or retain your guests, especially top-tier ones like MM and Orange Range, being a humongous cock ain't the way to do it! (Even before 2009 AX has had it lucky as far as guests go, and the stories are just as uneven - check Hirano Aya, David Hayter, and Halko Momoi for examples)

At least 1/3 of the crowd stayed afterward and chanted for an encore until AX staff essentially forced us to leave. Also, cameras weren't allowed into any of the MM events. And thank goodness for that, people actually enjoyed the concert instead of just standing around with their smartphones above their heads like a bunch of jackasses.
