Whether you die or not, a happy ending is inevitable. Humans are sent to earth with the sole purpose of surviving, why do things like despair and sadness exist? they are nothing more than stepping stones so people can reach greater heights, it has no other purpose so naturally a good ending can be expected no matter what. Even if you lose, there is still a chance of you gaining an even greater victory in the future, if you lose again, your imminent victory will continue to snowball until it is time for that good fortune to blossom. There isn't much point in anticipating a bad ending, you shouldn't worry about things like hell or purgatory, we were given consciousness to learn and survive, no one gains anything from eternal punishment so don't worry about it. If we fuck up in this life, we will be given another chance at victory. Or maybe there is actually heaven waiting at the end, we just need to be determined and win. I have been running experiments to measure my fortune, it seems to come in waves. If something terribly unfortunate happens, something of equal - greater value comes after (artificially producing this pain does not work, self-harm doesn't do much for my luck). The timing is a little hard to measure but what's important is that things are not just a downward spiral. This timing of fortune is quite inconsistent however, sometimes the results immediately show themselves and other times it takes a little while for the good results to show (1-2 days). Even if everything is ruined in this life, we cannot give up on the next, the path only faces in one direction so there is no point in stagnating, nothing will magically carry you towards happiness, you must take the step yourself until everything falls into place. Knowing that any action you take leads to a happy ending has been much more reassuring, even if I get hurt, knowing that there is a good ending waiting for me elsewhere is very comforting. If you still want to cling to life here, go ahead, just know that sitting around looking for someone to give you a reason to live is worthless. There isn't much worth in doing things that are so passive, either choose one path or choose another. If you truly want to live (meaning that you have something in this world that you want to experience/a goal to pursue no matter how insignificant, something realistic ideally) or if you just want to die just know that anything is better than stagnation, rotting away does not feel very good. also ummm good night ummm sweat dreams <3
