In all seriousness, EZ Meta Tag Editor also works for untagging WMV/ASF.
For MP4, IF his fucking tags didn't fuck up the MDAT box seriously, I have no idea what donkey shit he is using to do this, but it does actually cause damage to some of the MP4 files...either that or uploadgig is corrupting the downloads you can do an "in place" (read: instant) tag removal using MP4Box (part of GPAC, useful tool)

Sometimes he uses even more fucking tags..."mp4box -info" or just look at the properties in Explorer or in mediainfo to see if any of it is left.

mpv is indeed the best, seconding that rec. If you want a seldom updated but still very good front-end for it on Windows that adds a basic GUI, check out "mpv.net". The fact that it doesn't get updated often isn't a huge deal, just drop a newer mpv-2.dll in next to it and it's like updating mpv.
