Some people do wish for those on purpose, since you can put them in a ranch and farm their meat, which gives speed boosts. It's probably not worth it unless you really wanted to spend a lot of AP on other stuff besides speed, though.

Can't find my screen of missing 2 in a row on consecutive quaffs. I just hate how hard it is to get wishes that don't come from fountains now.

I should have made sure I wasn't going to do it myself first. Threw a bunch of debug-wish chestnuts, I assume over 100, at a punk that I sand bagged. I left the overworld place I was in, and reentered, and there he is. Boss music plays too. That isn't his base level, so it must scale up somehow. He drops a bunch of chestnuts and his card and statue. Wouldn't want to try to take him on with a normal character at that level. He uses rage and makes you bleed when you hit him. No special actions, though. He DID trigger the blunt invoke once, but don't know if it was a SA or triggered naturally.

You might want to try farming, since the bonuses for it are pretty nice now. Fishing is supposedly a good way to make money if you can cook, but both take a long time to improve. You could also try to grab everything you can in the puppy cave. This is a good thing to do while you're leveling up a pet. Scrolls of oracle you find there sell for a lot, and the spellbooks can be decent gold.
