When Reimu's shrine got trashed by drunken hoodlums, all the tengu papers ran articles on it and put the blame solely on Konngara and emphasized on her oniness as the cause of the crime This is despite the fact that her non-oni friend Sacchan was involved too. And none of the papers bothered to fact check whether Konngara actually is an oni or if she just kind of looks like one...

I'm not convinced that the tengu have the best interests of humans in mind. They seem kind of insidious to be honest.
