If we're keeping on that rural headcanon, Elly would be trying to keep a composed and impervious front while actually being rather stressed out about a bunch of stuff. Being the gatekeeper of such a strong person as Yuuka ought to imply a degree of high class composure to maintain. But if we are to consider the myth Elly borrows and the idea she has Breton roots, this is very much at odds with how she may have been there. While not as extreme as middle eastern countries or other examples, Bretons don't entertain bullshit for the sake of it, society. They're more about their direct needs. Good (very fat) food, lots of drinking, a certain sense of hospitality that can go over one's bounds if their own country's culture isn't used to such customs.
That being said, I don't believe Yuuka to exactly go by these work ethic conventions and all that bullshit, if there are even any to begin with. However, I do believe the inherent pressure of Yuuka conditions Elly to give her all even if it's just routine and rather easy beyond the events of LLS which were, as we know from her dialogue, rather exceptional.
She's probably got a lot to think about, so I do like the idea that she's a wine kind of lady. I haven't entertained the auntie stuff much myself although I don't really mind, but I do like expressing my own thoughts on how I see these characters. Half the fun of PC-98 is to make do with how little we know of these characters and build from there. Our own experiences can then intertwine and that's where it gets fun and we keep a discussion and interest going.
That and LLS/PoDD/MS are really good games imo so it doubles my commitment to these characters.
