Yeah like, he goes out of his way to dunk on religion and religious leaders pretty heavily throughout his work, he's definitely making some form of commentary when every single religious leader is either corrupt or incompetent, every good thing they do is to scam people, and how dire the afterlife is. Its really not subtle that he's at the very least, having a bit of a laugh.
