I agree that the expressions are more subtle in HF though, for the most part. They were going for a different tone, and again I think they managed to find a decent middle ground between their established designs from UBW and the original art. Or alternatively, between their established style and the DEEN designs, which did often look legitimately great in stills but obviously suffered a lot in motion.
