I've never read anything else by Shumon but this was fantastic. Would have been even better with a protag who is less self-depreciating because that got really annoying after a while, the other characters made up for him though.
Loved the atmosphere too, the aesthetics, the soundtrack, the ridiculous word plays, shit was just beautiful.
