To be fair, a lot of those men only came seeking her hand because they heard rumors about how hot she was, with little or no regard for who she was as a person, and she does not like being placed on a pedestal.

If her would-be suitors were humiliated by failing her impossible requests, they only have themselves to blame for failing to see how they were impossible to begin with, and not realizing that was her way of telling them "fuck off, I'm not interested".
