I'd say the style and content of the images make them at least somewhat relevant. There have been a few threads saying '2D is welcome too' in the OP and figured this was the least of all evils if evil at all (it's not, duh).

Well first of all, I don't know who the fuck you could possibly be quoting with ""too well"". And no, that wasn't my intent at all. The level of paranoid projection from your post is absolutely staggering. I would say 'I can't imagine the mental hoops you have to jump through to extrapolate the worst intentions possible out of someone' but I can because it's obvious that since you consider yourself an artist you defaulted to a mode of thinking that you could take personal issue with. As in, if these were your images someone were posting and asking questions about you'd have to assume the worst of them. Hmm, I wonder why? Why is it that if you saw someone posting and talking about your work you'd immediately assume they're trying to catch you out instead of just liking your work? Is it because no one likes your work? Well, only you know the answer for sure, but the rest of us can take a pretty good guess.

I asked just because I liked the character designs and like the artist's work and was curious. No I don't think there's a photo as specific as a toast eating school kid jumping through the air, being an artist myself I know there has to be some degree of creative addition and subtraction when stylizing a given reference.
