I think it's also worth mentioning the age of Kagepro and IA starting in late 2011. Around that time electrorock Vocaloid music and using IA in general became popular with producers like Jin, Kemu, Suzumu, and 150P. Making song series centered around OCs rather than Vocaloids also, started becoming trendy. Kagepro in particular was disliked by a lot of oldfags since the new younger fans were known to be really annoying and calling everything a Kagepro ripoff (so I heard). Names with -P also started falling out of fashion since there was less focus on having the image of an idol producer than before (this was more post-Kagepro though I think). I may be overstating the influence of these events, but I think that's around the time I personally noticed a shift in Vocaloid culture on NND.
