I don't think it's a guarantee even if the mating presses are LI. Imagine you got three particles labeled 1, 2 and 3. You can couple these particles into states with a well defined total angular momentum J in more than one way. If you were to first couple 1 and 2 into angular momentum J_12 and then this with 3 to angular momentum J, the resulting state would not generally be the same or LD with the result that would be got if you instead started by coupling 2 and 3 into J_23 and this with 1 to J. The same applies to mating presses. If you had three mating presses with Koishi, Flandre and Nue, you could still couple them in several LI ways to the same total J and you'd need additional quantum numbers to properly label the mating presses and lift the degeneracy.
