Nothing in FGO is a "big improvement", other works had been showing the Fate version of Tsukihime characters already before that trash.
But yes, I'm also hopeful for 2020, or at least early in the next decade.

They could, though I'm really unsure about what format would be best.
TV series for Near side and movies for Far side seem to be popular. Though OVAs for every single route would be ideal, I think.

Got the Sun ending with the harem between Arc and Ciel.

Literally the best ending right out of the bat. I don't see how it could be toppled, unless there's a sex slave Arc ending.
